      the Germans might have hard time reaching 16 but it would be oh so Sweet! … (Italy is never easy, that’s for sure)

      “NO other team has done that?” … Nope, 15 consecutive victories (not 15 matches unbeaten, mind you) at a major international competition, be it either qualification matches or the final tournament, itself, is the new standard by which all others will be measured from now on … France, Holland and Spain all had streaks of 14 straight wins previously.
