If you are an official representative of the Greek government and would like to offer a sincere and heart-felt apology for this most tasteful display at the GERMANY v GREECE quarterfinal match at the 2012 UEFA European Championships, please feel free to comment at your leisure.
If you are a Greek citizen or just consider yourself a friend of the Greek people, for example, and would like to offer a stern condemnation for the incredibly insulting actions of a “handful” of “misguided” Greek football supporters who do not ‘speak for the mainstream masses, blah, blah, blah’, you are welcome to access the comments section graciously made available for that purpose.
If you are a confirmed Lefty in any country, an admitted sympathizer of any varying degree or, perhaps, only a fellow traveler who normally prefers to just go along to get along and want to see about dumping gasoline on the fire — be advised the blog has a delete button and is completely unconcerned with respect to feelings about that totalitarian-like situation.
Could’ve sworn I seen the dude with the helmet on TV at that last anti-Austerity riot in Athens, too, but, whatever … I now return you to originally-scheduled programming post haste (pun intended) because I know, once all the bullshit is carefully sorted through, fact of the matter is that there is absolutely no such thing as Utopia.
If there was, someone would be doing my blog posts for me!
