Happy Hanukkah!

Israel international ALMOG COHEN, who arrived in Germany this summer on a free transfer from FC Maccabi Netanya, made just his third start of the year in midfield today for 1.FC Nuremberg against Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund at the Frankenstadion in Bavaria.

Which reminds the blog, who was sent by a Lutheran mother to a Presbyterian church because it was the closest one down the street…

…Almog’s dad Avi turned out for Glasgow Rangers in Scotland once upon a time.

With all this in mind, while there are still a few days left to be celebrated, the blog should probably stop the presses for a moment to wish everyone a HAPPY HANUKKAH!
