1 – NK Hajduk Split (CRO) ———— Vukusic 90+5′
0 – RSC Anderlecht (BEL)
A goal in the fifth minute of time added on handed NK HAJDUK SPLIT a very late 1-0 victory over visiting Belgian side RSC ANDERLECHT in Group G of the UEFA Europa League.
Neither side, both of whom dropped their opening group stage matches a few weeks ago, created very many chances in a defensive struggle that fairly called for a draw.
19-year-old striker ANTE VUKUSIC, however, provided Hajduk Split a dramatic winner with a clinical finish after receiving the decisive pass from Albania international midfielder ERVIN BULKU.
