The English Premier League’s opening day match against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane provided further clues as to who will be named to the 25-man roster of MANCHESTER CITY by Italian manager ROBERTO MANCINI.

The starting XI and bench players for Manchester City in London :

Goal — Joe HART

One surprise inclusion on the bench of Man City for opening day, at least in the mind of this blogger, was that of the 23-year-old Brazilian striker JO, who spent last season out on loan at both FC Everton (15 league games, 0 goals) and SK Galatasaray Istanbul (13 lge ga, 3 go) in Turkey.

Players under the age of 21 as of January 1, 2010, will not count towards the 25 places that constitute the Premier League’s roster limit taking effect at the start of September, still, there exists a surplus for the Eastlands club at the moment.
