Croatia international striker NIKICA JELAVIC bagged a brace as SK RAPID VIENNA comfortably bounced Bulgarian side PFC BEROE STARA ZAGORA from the UEFA Europa League with a 3-0 victory in the return leg of the third round qualifying tie.
The 24-year old Jelavic, who scored 18 goals in 33 Bundesliga games for Rapid Vienna last term and is reportedly a transfer target of Scottish outfit Glasgow Rangers, ran his total in Europe this summer to a symmetrical four goals from four games.
30-year-old Austria international defender MARKUS KATZER collected Rapid Vienna’s third goal in the 71st minute with a well-taken drive low, far post after an overlapping run and efficient pass from 21-year-old substitute midfielder VELI KAVLAK, another Austria international.
