UEFA Europa League
second round qualifying, second leg
2 – FK Mogren (Mont) ————— Gluscevic 58′ pen, 80′
1 – FC Maccabi Tel Aviv (Isr) —— Medunjanin 7′
Bosnia / Herzegovina international HARIS MEDUNJANIN, the big money buy from relegated Spanish club Real Valladolid, scored the goal that mattered most in the end against host FK MOGREN on the road in Budva, Montenegro, as FC MACCABI TEL AVIV move into the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
Medunjanin, who failed to score in four matches of European competition over the course of a couple of seasons a few years back for Dutch club AZ Alkmaar, scored his second goal in as many UEFA Europa League matches for new club FC Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel.
Veteran striker VLADIMIR GLUSEVIC salvaged some pride for the home supporters with a brace that left FK Mogren in front for the evening.
FK Mogren, however, still needed another two goals to avoid losing a tie-breaker on the away goals rule.
