Brazilian substitute striker SCHUMACHER managed to spare some blushes but Austrian side FK AUSTRIA WIEN was still held to a 2-2 draw by NK SIROKI BRIJEG of Bosnia / Herzegovina in the first leg, second round qualification match at the Franz Horr Stadion in Vienna.

Brazilian midfielder WAGNER and international defender JOSIP TOPIC scored two important away goals for NK Siroki Brijeg while the much-traveled Austrian international ROLAND LINZ accounted for the first FK Austria Wien strike.

FK Austria Wien, who started the 19-year-old keeper HEINZ LINDNER in net, was officially credited with three times as many attempts at goal, nine, as the visiting side and will be disappointed with the result in the home leg of the tie.
