Three goals within the first half hour mortally wounded the visiting side as Dutch outfit FC UTRECHT easily defeated FK TIRANA of Albania 4-0 in the first leg of the second round qualifying match for the Europa League at the Stadion Galgenwaard in Utrecht.

One-time Dutch youth international RICKY VAN WOLFSWINKEL, Ghana senior international NANA ASARE and Belgian import DRIES MERTENS scored goals for FC Utrecht, who also benefited from an own goal put through by the visitors.

Morocco international KHALID SINOUH, the 35-year-old veteran reserve who made just one start in the Eredivisie all of last season after arriving from German Bundesliga side SV Hamburg, earned the clean sheet in net for FC Utrecht.

Albania international ILION LIKA had a match to forget in goal for KF Tirana and was sent off with a second yellow six minutes from time.
