After completion of a fine rookie campaign in the Bundesliga for Bayern Munich, the 20-year-old attacker THOMAS MUELLER certainly has taken flight with four goals for the German national team in South Africa; der neue Bomber, however, must sit out the semi-final versus Spain.

The Brazilian-born CACAU has collected a goal for Germany at the World Cup, as well.

And then there is the vetern international MIROSLAV KLOSE, who used to feature annually on the Bundesliga’s Torjaeger list…

Outside of the Dutchman Robben, the Bundesliga’s foreign goal-hunters did not deliver the goods for their respective national teams at the World Cup in South Africa.
