SV Hamburg 0 – Bayern Munich 3

Bundesliga
Spieltag # 10

0 – SV HAMBURG
3 – BAYERN MUNICH ——— Schweinsteiger 40′, Mueller 49′, Kroos 53′

Three goals inside of a deadly quarter hour span on both sides of the halftime whistle were more than enough to easily decide the most recent installment of this particular Bundesliga-Klassiker as top of the table BAYERN MUNICH blanked host SV HAMBURG 3-0 and returned to its winning ways in the German top flight.

Trainer JUPP HEYNCKES, after resting most of the regular first team for the midweek D.F.B. Pokal clash with second division 1.FC Kaiserslautern, needed to wait almost until the halftime whistle for the visitors to take the lead. Germany international midfielder TONI KROOS went around SV Hamburg goalkeeper RENE ADLER on an angle too wide for a shot. But the emerging central attacking midfielder was able to pick out veteran Germany international BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER at the far post.

A diving header from the 28-year-old with 97 caps for Deutschland left the scrambling Adler no hope and allowed Schweinsteiger to net his fourth goal of this Bundesliga season for Bayern Munich. The experienced defensive midfielder, to review, posted just three goals from 22 top flight appearances in an injury-filled campaign last term. Schweinsteiger’s personal best in the Bundesliga would be the five goals registered on 31 appearances for the Bavarians during the 2008/09 season.

======================================================

======================================================
Hamburg SV goalkeeper RENE ADLER, the 27-year-old who has earned 10 caps for Germany in his career, is in his first season with the Bundesliga’s Dinosaur after transferring in the summer from Bayer Leverkusen; Adler immediately relegated last season’s first choice for HSV, the 33-year-old Czech Republic international Jaroslav Drobny, to the role of reserve and has easily been the best player for trainer Thorsten Fink’s squad thus far this season.
======================================================

Just after the second half got underway, red-hot Germany international winger THOMAS MUELLER doubled Bayern Munich’s lead with a genuine world-class goal. Apparently forced wide by both the goalkeeper Adler and HSV’s veteran Germany international defender MARCEL JANSEN, the 23-year-old winger neatly curled to score his seventh goal of this 2012/13 Bundesliga season. Mueller stands second for the Bavarians, just a solitary strike behind only Croatia international striker MARIO MANDZUKIC.

Kroos compounded problems for SV Hamburg by playing a slick one-two with France World Cup winger FRANCK RIBERY and shooting past Adler to score his fourth goal in the German top flight this term just five minutes later.

A satisfying win for visiting Bayern Munich, who had seen their record-setting streak of eight consecutive triumphs to begin the Bundesliga season snapped by Bayer Leverkusen only a week earlier; a fine tune-up for the Bavarians in advance of the vital match with French side OSC Lille in the UEFA Champions League, as well.

========================================================

========================================================
Austria international DAVID ALABA, the versatile, 20-year-old making his first start of the season at left back for record German champions Bayern Munich, and HEUNG-MIN SON of Hamburg SV, the 20-year-old South Korea international winger who has totaled 13 goals in 51 Bundesliga matches since graduating from the youth team of die Rothosen, engage in an aerial duel during the latest Bundesliga-Klassiker at the Imtech Arena in the Hanseatic port city.

Germany international striker MARIO GOMEZ (left), last season’s Torjaegermeister who again leads the domestic top flight with 17 goals for Bayern Munich this term, steps on the foot of SV Hamburg veteran defensive midfielder DAVID JAROLIM, the 32-year-old Czech Republic international who spent three years with Bayern Munich before transferring to 1.FC Nuremberg in the summer of 2000, during the Bundesliga match in front of 57,000 spectators at the sold-out Imtech Arena in the beautiful north German port city.

Bundesliga
Spieltag # 20

1 – SV HAMBURG —————————— Sala 23′
1 – BAYERN MUNICH ———————– Olic 71′

A second half strike from a veteran substitute competing against his old club allowed record German champion BAYERN MUNICH to salvage a disappointing 1-1 draw with the Bundesliga Dinosaur, SV HAMBURG, but the Bavarians did surrender the position at the top of the domestic table in the process.

Hamburg SV, of course, had lost their last two matches with Bayern Munich by the lopsided margins of 6-0 and 5-0, respectively. And the only original member of the Bundesliga to never have been relegated were just recently thrashed 5-1 at home by defending champion Borussia Dortmund, as well. But SV Hamburg’s fourth trainer of the season, one-time Bayern Munich midfielder THORSTEN FINK, and veteran Czech Republic international goalkeeper JAROSLAV DROBNY were determined to put an end to the poundings.

Hamburg SV might have gone in front right away had Germany international midfielder TONI KROOS not been at the back post to clear a header from national team constituent HEIKO WESTERMANN in only the fifth minute. The 28-year-old HSV defender with 24 caps for Deutschland looked to have put through an own goal off a corner kick roughly ten minutes later but Germany international striker MARIO GOMEZ was ruled to have committed to cancel the celebrations for Bayern Munich. Drobny soon began a series of fine saves before one of four young players brought in this summer from English Premier League club FC Chelsea succeeded in breaking the ice for SV Hamburg.

========================================================

========================================================
Czech Republic international JAROSLAV DROBNY has been ever present for SV Hamburg this season after spending most of last term on the bench behind FRANK ROST, who has since gone off to Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls in the United States. The well-traveled, 32-year-old veteran joined the Bundesliga Dinosaur in the summer of 2010 after three seasons as first choice for SC Hertha Berlin. Drobny, who also appeared in the Bundesliga for Vfl Bochum during the 2006/07 campaign, has also been on the books with clubs in England, Holland and Greece.
========================================================

20-year-old Italian midfielder JACOPO SCALA, who only made his first career Bundesliga start last week against Hertha Berlin, looked like a seasoned pro when he calmly volleyed the cross of Peru international striker PAOLO GUERRERO, who scored 10 goals in 27 Bundesliga contests for Bayern Munich before moving to SV Hamburg in the summer of 2006, past the diving Germany World Cup goalkeeper MANUEL NEUER to give die Rothosen a surprise lead in the 23rd minute.

Predictably, SV Hamburg hunkered down to defend thereafter but the visiting Bavarians were unable to solve the in-form Drobny. Sala might have volleyed a second on the break following a cross from Germany World Cup reserve midfielder MARCELL JANSEN but was well off target just after the restart. Shortly after the hour, Bayern Munich trainer JUPP HEYNCKES looked for a spark and sent on a pair of substitutes in 19-year-old Austria international midfielder DAVID ALABA and 32-year-old Croatia international striker IVICA OLIC to bolster the attack.

Germany World Cup winger THOMAS MUELLER, who has scored just two goals in 20 Bundesliga games for Bayern Munich this term, was denied when Drobny just got down in time to get the slightest touch in the 69th minute. But the Bavarians soon had a deserved equalizer on the ensuing corner when Olic, who scored 29 Bundesliga goals in two and a half years with SV Hamburg after transferring from Russian club CSKA Moscow in exchange for 2.0 million Euros at the end of January in 2007, appeared at the back post to slam home a loose ball in the 71st minute. A second goal of this season for the veteran Croatian, then, whose only other strike for Bayern Munich materialized in the massive 5-0 win at the Allianz Arena in Bavaria earlier this past fall.

========================================================

========================================================
Venezuela international midfielder TOMAS RINCON, the 24-year-old in his third full season of German football after signing for SV Hamburg from FC Deportivo Tachira in late January of 2009, controls the ball in front of Bayern Munich’s Holland World Cup winger ARJEN ROBBEN during the Bundesliga match at the sold-out Imtech Arena in the picturesque north German port city of Hamburg.
========================================================

SV HAMBURG : Drobny – Diekmeier, Westermann, Rajkovic, Aogo – Rincon, Jarolim (Tesche 90+2′) – Sala (Ilicevic 75′), Jansen – Guerrero, Petric (Son 71′)

BAYERN MUNICH : Neuer – Tymoshchuk (Alaba 61′), Boateng, Badstuber, Lahm – Schweinsteiger, Kroos (Olic 64′) – Robben, Mueller, Ribery – Gomez

Bayern Munich 5 – SV Hamburg 0

================================================================
A pair of veterans from last summer’s FIFA World Cup in South Africa — Bayern Munich superstar winger ARJEN ROBBEN (left) of runners-up Holland and SV Hamburg left-sided midfielder MARCELL JANSEN of 3rd place Germany — keep the airborne ball in plain view during the lopsided Bundesliga match on Saturday at the sun-drenched, sold-out Allianz Arena in Bavaria.

Bundesliga
Spieltag # 3

5 – BAYERN MUNICH ———— van Buyten 13′, Ribery 17′, Robben 34′, Gomez 56′, Olic 80′
0 – SV HAMBURG

A pair of strikes inside the first seventeen minutes and a world-class goal arriving in the 34th minute guaranteed that there would be no way back for the visitors as Rekordmeister BAYERN MUNICH blasted the Bundesliga Dinosaur SV HAMBURG 5-0 in the third round of competition in the German top flight.

Holland World Cup winger ARJEN ROBBEN, once again, exercised his influence with a free kick for veteran Belgium international DANIEL VAN BUYTEN — the one-time SV Hamburg center back making his first start in this, Bayern Munich’s fifth competitive match of the new season — to meet unmolested in the box and head home to send the Bavarian club ahead before the quarter hour; just four minutes later, France World Cup winger FRANCK RIBERY settled a cross from Germany World Cup attacker THOMAS MUELLER on the left and, with a bit of fancy footwork, left two defenders standing still and doubled the advantage with his first tally for Bayern Munich this term.

Robben, who, like Ribery, was acquired by Bayern Munich at a cost of 25.0 million Euros, put the result beyond doubt before the halftime whistle had even been blown with an individual effort that only served to endorse his world-class stature. The Dangerous Dutchman took a routine ball from the Beligan van Buyten in midfield near the right touchline and embarked on a knifing run straight into the area. Stepping around SV Hamburg’s current Germany international defender DENNIS AOGO, Robben made his delightful lob of Czech Republic international goalkeeper JAROSLAV DROBNY look all too easy in registering his 29th goal from 40 career Bundesliga matches for Bayern Munich.

================================================================

================================================================
On the heels of a spectacular goal against FC Zurich in the UEFA Champions League this past Wednesday, Holland World Cup winger ARJEN ROBBEN of Bayern Munich dribbles past SV Hamburg captain and Germany international HEIKO WESTERMANN on his way to what will surely stand out as one of the most skillful goals scored this entire 2011/12 Bundesliga season during the Bavarian club’s heavy 5-0 defeat of their long-time rivals from the north at the Allianz Arena in Sued Deutschland.
================================================================

Germany international striker MARIO GOMEZ, last season’s Bundesliga Torjaegermeister who arrived at Bayern Munich with the price tag of 30.0 million Euros, has struggled to get the ball on target this summer thus far. But the 26-year-old, after being denied his first Bundesliga goal of this new campaign by a good reflex save from Drobny in the first half, was able to take a ball from Mueller in the box on the right and squeeze the ball into the net from a very tight angle near the goalline shortly before the hour. The beleagured SV Hamburg keeper might have been better served to stay on his feet given the situation but Gomez still celebrated his first strike since the opening match against Eintracht Braunschweig in the D.F.B. Pokal.

Croatia international attacker IVICA OLIC, who spent two and a half terms with SV Hamburg before a free transfer to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2009, closed out the scoring with a diving header in the 80th minute. The 31-year-old veteran, who came on as a second half substitute for Mueller, appeared in just nine matches on account of injury last season after scoring 11 goals in the Bundesliga and seven more in the UEFA Champions League his first season in Bavaria. The strike marked Olic’s first since scoring Bayern Munich’s second goal in the 4-0 win over Werder Bremen in the German Cup Final on May 15, 2010.

Germany international defender HOLGER BADSTUBER rose in the box to head the free kick of Germany World Cup midfielder BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER into the path of the opportunistic Olic.

With the injury time victory against Vfl Wolfsburg, a comfortable triumph over FC Zurich in the UEFA Champions Leauge and, now, a decisive defeat of SV Hamburg now successfully strung together for trainer JUPP HEYNCKES, it does appear the Bayern Munich are making strides towards performing at an acceptable level which is more condusive towards achieving excellence in both the Bundesliga and Europe.

================================================================

================================================================
SV Hamburg’s 19-year-old Holland international defender JEFFREY BRUMA (right), on loan for the season from English Premier Leauge club FC Chelsea and participating in only his second-ever Bundesliga contest, can do nothing to prevent veteran Croatia international striker IVICA OLIC of Bayern Munich from diving to score the fifth and final goal of the one-sided Bundesliga match at the ausverkauft Allianz Arena in southern Germany.
================================================================

BAYERN MUNICH : Neuer – Rafinha, van Buyten, Badstuber, Lahm – Tymoshchuk, Schweinsteiger – Robben (Alaba 66′), Mueller (Olic 71′), Ribery – Gomez (Petersen 76′)

SV HAMBURG : Drobny – Diekmeier (Tesche 68′), Bruma, Mancienne, Aogo – Westermann, Jarolim – Rincon, Jansen – Toere (Kacar 68′), Son (Elia 87′)

Spieler Bericht : SV Hamburg 2011/12

==================================================
Peru Copa America striker PAOLO GUERRERO (left), the 27-year-old who began his professional career with the Bayern Munich reserve team in the Regionalliga Sued before going on to score 10 goals in 27 Bundesliga games over two seasons for the senior Bavarian side prior ahead of a transfer to die Rothosen in the summer of 2006, and Germany World Cup reserve midfielder MARCELL JANSEN, who notched a goal for Deutschland in their 3-2 defeat of Uruguay in the 3rd Place Match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in South Africa, are just two of the experienced internationals on the books this season for trainer Michael Oenning and SV HAMBURG.
==================================================

SV HAMBURG, the only German club that has been ever present in the Bundesliga since it started play in 1963, enter the third round match with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in Bavaria still in search of an initial victory in the top flight this 2011/12 season; an opening day loss to defending champion Borussia Dortmund and a draw last week with newly-promoted SC Hertha Berlin leave the “Bundesliga Dinosaur” with just one point in the standings.

Czech Republic international JAROSLAV DROBNY is the new first choice since this summer’s departure of veteran Germany international FRANK ROST to the New York Red Bull of Major League Soccer in the United States. The veteran 31-year-old Drobny made 97 appearances over three seasons for SC Hertha Berlin but only played in five matches for SV Hamburg last term after transferring from the German capital the preceding summer. Drobny, who has 121 appearances in the German top flight to date, originally made his Bundesliga debut for Vfl Bochum in January of 2007 after a loan move from English Premier League club Fulham Athletic.

Die Rothosen have sold Holland World Cup defender JORIS MATHIJSEN to Spanish La Liga outfit CF Malaga for a reported 2.5 million Euros but SV Hamburg did acquire two young defenders from English Premier League side FC Chelsea — 23-year-old rearguard MICHAEL MANCIENNE, who made 30 appearances for the England U-21 national side and spent last term out on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, is also reported to have cost 2.5 million Euros while youthful Holland international JEFFREY BRUMA has arrived on loan from the London club.

SV Hamburg, who have already conceded five goals in their first two Bundesliga matches, will look to a pair of Germany international defenders, DENNIS AOGO and HEIKO WESTERMANN, to stabilize the backline which includes another youngster, DENNIS DIEKMEIER, in Bavaria.

================================================================

================================================================
SV Hamburg’s well-traveled Czech Republic international JAROSLAV DROBNY was on the books with FC Panionis Athens in Greece, Fulham Athletic of London in England as well as ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands before initially appearing in the Bundesliga with Vfl Bochum in late January of 2007.
================================================================

SV Hamburg peddled Burkina Faso international midfielder JONATHAN PITROIPA to French Ligue 1 side FC Rennes for 3.0 million Euros while aging Brazil international ZE ROBERTO went to SC Al Gharafa in Qatar and Germany World Cup reserve midfielder PIOTR TROCHOWSKI left for Spanish La Liga side FC Sevilla, both on free transfers.

In response, die Rothosen signed youthful Turkey international midfielder GOKHAN TOERE — yet another player taken on from successful English club FC Chelsea — for the transfer fee of 1.3 million Euros as well as 24-year-old Norway international midfielder PER SKJELBRED from BK Rosenborg Trondheim at the cost of 500,000 Euros.

SV Hamburg reportedly did reject a hefty bid from Italian Serie A giant FC Juventus of Turn for Holland World Cup winger ELJERO ELIA, the 24-year-old who has scored seven Bundesliga goals in 50 career games to date since arriving from Dutch club FC Twente Enschede in the summer of 2009.

Elia and Toere are the only two midfielders to have featured in the Hamburg Startelf the first two rounds in the Bundesliga as trainer Michael Oenning has shuffled his line-up. A pair of World Cup participants, Germany’s MARCELL JANSEN and Serbia’s GOJKO KACAR, are available for duty as is 23-year-old Venezuela international TOMAS RINCON. Oenning may look to the experience of 32-year-old Czech Republic international DAVID JAROLIM, who made his Bundesliga debut several years ago with Bayern Munich before transferring to 1.FC Nuremburg in the summer of 2000.

================================================================

================================================================
SV Hamburg captain HEIKO WESTERMANN (right), the 28-year-old defender who has earned 24 caps and scored three goals for Germany thus far in his career, concentrates on the ball in front of Borussia Dortmund’s attack-minded Japan international midfielder SHINJI KAGAWA during the Bundesliga opener on August 5th at Signal Iduna Park in North Rhine-Westphalia.
================================================================

Croatia international MLADEN PETRIC is the man to whom SV Hamburg looks for goals; the 30-year-old striker, who also had a successful year with Borussia Dortmund previously, has registered 31 goals from 73 Bundesliga games for die Rothosen the past three seasons entering the 2011/12 campaign.

Hamburg SV are hoping for big things from teenager HEUNG-MIN SON, the 19-year old South Korea international who has already struck for his first goal of the new season last week against SC Hertha Berlin.

Sweden international MARCUS BERG has returned to SV Hamburg after a year on loan in the Dutch first division with PSV Eindhoven. The 25-year-old striker, who tallied four goals in 30 Bundesliga games for HSV two years ago, scored eight goals in 25 Eredivisie contests with PSV last term. Berg, however, has yet to appear in either of die Rothosen’s first two matches to start this season.

Peru international attacker PAOLO GUERRERO, who has scored 31 goals in 111 career matches for SV Hamburg since transferring from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2006, reportedly did not make the trip to Bavaria this year.

SV Hamburg Humble Bayern Munich In Liga Total Cup

================================================================
Germany World Cup winger THOMAS MUELLER of Bayern Munich, who scored 18 goals in all competitions for the Bavarian side last season, attempts to tackle the ball away from Serbia World Cup defender GOJKO KACAR of SV Hamburg during the Testspiel match at the Coface Arena in Mainz.
================================================================

A gift goal six minutes into the match and an enterprising second right on the half hour mark enabled shorthanded SV HAMBURG to upend Bundesliga Rekordmeister BAYERN MUNICH 2-1 in the semi-final of the exhibition 2011 Liga Total Cup tournament.

Germany World Cup goalkeeper MANUEL NEUER committed an eggregious error by failing to adequately deal with the cross of Germany international defender DENNIS AOGO from a free kick on the left; 19-year-old South Korea international striker HEUNG-MIN SON collected over on the right and calmly rolled the ball into the back of the net to give SV Hamburg a surprising seventh minute lead.

SV Hamburg were without their top Bundesliga goal-scorer from last season, the projected starting goalkeeper as well as another pair of players away on international duty at the Copa America. Bayern Munich, meanwhile, essentially put out the first team although newly-arrived Brazil international right back RAFINHA was benched in favor of 18-year-old reserve team player CUENYET KOEZ. Despite the presence of all their big guns, the Bavarians still struggled to put a ball past SV Hamburg’s inexperienced shot-stopper TOM MICKEL, the 22-year-old who still has yet to play in a Bundesliga game.

Son, who scored three goals in 13 Bundesliga games after being promoted from the reserve team of die Rothosen last year, grabbed his second goal of the game in the 30th minute after a fine run and right wing cross from youthful SV Hamburg fullback DENNIS DIEKMEIER.

Hamburg SV held firm throughout the contest though put Bayern Munich did pull one back three minutes before the hour; 21-year-old Germany international midfielder TONI KROOS, a second half substitute, scored within seven minutes of coming on just before the hour when his shot from twenty yards beat Mickel and riccocheted of both goalposts.

On the whole, however, Bayern Munich were particularly wasteful and continued to leave the chances go begging.

Wer Kann Ein Tor Gegen Bayern Muenchen Schiessen?

================================================================
================================================================

Wer Steht Im Tor Gegen Bayern Muenchen Heute?

================================================================

Gerald Asamoah : Hamburg Stadtderby Hero

A second half goal from an aging World Cup striker, a clean sheet from the third-string goalkeeper on his Bundesliga debut and steadfast defending from the rest of the side for ninety minutes powered in-form FC ST. PAULI to a massive 1-0 victory over traditional arch-rival SV HAMBURG in the 131st installment of the Hamburg Stadtderby.

The triumph marked just the second time FC St. Pauli had ever managed to topple their ultimate class enemy in the Bundesliga. Die Rothosen had not lost in the German top flight to their cross-town adversary for more than three decades, since September of 1977, to be exact. As it stands, the Kult Klub have collected just 24 wins since the series first began.

32-year-old veteran striker GERALD ASAMOAH, who has won 43 caps and appeared at two FIFA World Cup final tournaments for Germany in his career, continued his goal-scoring run and inscribed his name into the history books for FC St. Pauli.

Hamburg SV completely controlled the first half and would ultimately compile an overwhelming 24-5 edge in shots-at-goal for the game.

In the opening session, Germany international defender HEIKO WESTERMANN got around the end of the FC St. Pauli defense on a set piece but was denied a goal for die Rothosen by a fine play by Bundesliga debutant BENEDIKT PLIQUETT; later, veteran Holland international striker RUUD VAN NISTELROOY rose well to connect with the cross of Germany international defender DENNIS AOGO but sent his header straight at the FC St. Pauli third-string goalkeeper.

Creative veteran Brazil international midfielder ZE ROBERTO had a glorious opportunity for Hamburg SV just after the halftime break but smashed his left-footed shot into the side-netting.

Holland World Cup defender JORIS MATHIJSEN also had a legitimate chance soon into the second half for die Rothosen but the 26-year-old Pliquett, whose last game for FC St. Pauli was the DFB Pokal match with Regionalliga Nord side FC Chemnitzer to start the season this past August, stuck out his foot to suppress the threat.

Just before the hour, Asamoah announced his presence as the difference-maker for the all-important Hamburg Stadtderby.

A corner kick from one-time Germany U-21 international midfielder MAX KRUSE was redirected on at the near post and allowed the aging Germany international attacker, who arrived at FC St. Pauli this past summer on a free transfer from Schalke 04 Gelsenkirchen, to pounce with a header from close range for a sixth goal in the Bundesliga this season.

The resurgent Asamoah, who scored just three goals in 35 matches his last two seasons at Schalke 04 combined, counts four goals in five Bundesliga games for FC St. Pauli since the conclusion of the Winterpause.

The strike by Asamoah inspired confidence and the visitors might have added a second but Hamburg SV goalkeeper FRANK ROST somehow managed to keep out the header of FC St. Pauli substitute striker MARIUS EBBERS.

Holland World Cup winger ELJERO ELIA did create one final threat for Hamburg SV but failed to get his effort on target and, so, the 33-year unbeaten streak of die Rothosen against the intra-city, arch-rival has been snapped.
