During the recently-concluded winter break, Dutch top flight leaders PSV EINDHOVEN have dispatched the contract of seldom-used Moroccan winger NORDIN AMRABAT to Turkish Super Lig club KAYSERISPOR for a transfer fee of 1.0 million Euros.
After a successful season scoring 10 goals in 33 Eredivisie contests for VVV Venlo during the 2007-08 campaign, Amrabat was snapped up by the Boeren and made 25 league appearances in both of his first two seasons with PSV Eindhoven, scoring eight goals in all.
But, the arrival of Holland international JERMAIN LENS at the Philips Stadion in a summer transfer from AZ 67 Alkmaar was not the greatest of announcements for the 23-year-old winger; Amrabat’s playing time was radically reduced as evidenced by only six appearances, all as a substitute, and a solitary goal by the Moroccan for PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch top flight this term.
Overall, Amrabat played in 14 games and scored two goals in all competitions this season for PSV.
